Traveler's Medical Center believes that all medical personnel involved in the DOT examination process should be trained to understand if a driver can safely handle the mental and physical demands of driving a commercial motor vehicle according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical standards. All of our medical providers are certified by the National Academy for DOT Medical Examiners (NADME). NADME is the first independent medical group to develop a certification program that aligns with current DOT standards.

Traveler's Medical Center physicians also participate on FMCSA committees that are developing certification standards for DOT medical examiners.
